My Blogging Space
I was browsing the internet yesterday when I stumble upon Blogelina site. They were hosting a fun event My Blogging Space wherein you can join and submit a photo of your blogging space on their site. They will be giving away blog makeovers, transfers, advertising, gift cards, and more! Although the odds of winning are very remote, still, I joined the contest for fun. Here's what my blogging space looks like:
I moved around the house about 4 times before settling in this space, A Christmas tree used to occupy this space and after the holiday season when the tree was removed, the space was so empty and I decided to spruce it up, I got an old chair and a table (which belongs to my brother) from our storage room, put a few decorations and tada!!..I made it into my "mini office". As you can see, the décor is very minimal, I don’t like clutter, I want everything in place, I’m a bit of an OC.
My blogging space
is surrounded by windows so it’s quite airy and has natural lighting. Sometimes
I have my breakfast here, while working on my blog and I also use this space for my morning exercise.
I have built in cabinet on the side for the printer and other things. My laptop
is not a permanent fixture here, I keep it in my bedroom after I’m done using
it for the day.
What do I like most
about my space? The view
outside the window, my workplace is in a central location of the house, I can
see everything below, in the garden where my pets are playing and what's
happening outside my house, people walking, the traffic...Sometimes that's
where I get my inspiration by simply looking outside the window. It's very
airy and I love the natural light that passes thru the windows. I can put
plants on my table that also serves as an air cleaner and best of all,
the chirping of the birds especially in the morning, that's music to my
ears, I feel like I'm in the countryside even though I live in the city.
So this is my
blogging space, what does yours look like?

You've got a wonder room to concentrate on your blogging and there's nothing better than being able to see what's going on all around you at the same time.
ReplyDeleteI can clearly see how neat and tidy you are but that's a good thing. Saves you time searching for something when it's already right in it's place.
I can think clearly when my space is neat but sometimes being an O.C can be a problem. Nice to hear from you again!
DeleteHi Imee, you have a very cosy and nice blogging space. I have the same potted plants as yours too. Do have a wonderful week ahead :)
ReplyDeleteI read in one site that these plants can be a good indoor cleaner for air pollutants. you too have a great week, thanks!
DeleteI love that your desk faces the window--I set mine up the same way--it is such a joy to be able to write and look at nature outside the window for inspiration!
ReplyDeleteyup, you can just look outside the window when you're bored and have nothing to write. Thanks Marcia!
