Time to hang the gloves

Today is the Pacquiao vs Bradley fight, authorities noticed that every time Manny had a fight, there is less crime committed in the streets all over the Philippines. Almost everyone will be watching the fight in their homes, restaurants and even movie houses where viewings are held. I'm still waiting for it to be shown on TV (it's delayed by a couple of hours) maybe, by the time I'm done writing this blog, the fight would have been over and I hope Manny wins.

I'm no boxing fanatic but every time Pacquiao had a fight, I surely watched it because I don't want to miss all that excitement he brings inside the ring. But this time, I just hope that this will be his last fight, win or lose. For me, he has nothing more to prove, with 8 titles under his belt, it's a record that's hard to beat, it will take sometime before anyone can match it. It's time to retire while he's still on top. I hope his "Mommy Dionisia" can convince him that it's time to hang his gloves.

  2. Well, the saying goes " you win some and you lose some". If it was a fair and honest fight then the best man of the day did win. Sometimes people will only acknowledge that the game is over when they have lost a number of fights. Hoping that he goes on to something better.

  4. Manny no doubt won the fight, no matter how many times you watch it, it's Pacquiao who won.
